My Mom died on September 26. Her obituary was published in the Valley News and can be read here.

My Mom and Dad completed a cross country road trip in the late summer of 1954 immediately following their wedding. On their trip from Danville, Indiana to Coronado, Caliifornia (where my Dad would be serving in the Navy), they camped along the way in their canvas tent. Overnight stops included the bear country of Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks. I like to think their adventure was one of the inspirations for the geomeandering we’ve completed in our camper van, though we certainly felt safer in bear country sleeping in our van compared to their canvas tent.
